Married my high school sweetheart, and got a job

with my father in law’s paving company as soon as

I graduated.

And things were ok for the first couple of years I

guess.

But then the toll of life started to weigh heavy on

my shoulders.

We started ge ing behind on the bills.

Then the fighting followed and before I knew it,

our marriage was on the rocks.

And with no other skills to my name, I was stuck in

that dead-end job with no hope in sight.

Then one day my supervisor gave me a call and

said we’d scored several large contracts and

needed folks to work overtime.
